Full Screen

Using iA Writer for Mac in Full Screen hides the Menu Bar and Dock, helping you focus. Combine this with Focus Mode to give you laser focus.

Open iA Writer

Enter Full Screen

Do one of the following:

  • In iA Writer, select View ➤ Enter Full Screen.
  • Click the arrows in the top right of the window.

Exit Full Screen

Do one of the following:

  • In iA Writer, move the pointer to the top of the screen to reveal the Menu bar, then select View ➤ Exit Full Screen.
  • Move the pointer to the top of the screen to reveal the Menu bar, then click the arrows in the top right of the screen.

Once you start typing all chrome fades away. To reveal the Focus Mode switch, Format Bar, and statistics, move the pointer to the bottom of the screen. To reveal the Menu Bar, move the pointer to the top of the screen.
